At long last, Sophie Ellis-Bextor has finally announced the actual UK release date of her fourth album, Make A Scene. After many delays, title changes and rumours that would have tested the patience of Mother Teresa and a time period where Rihanna has managed to churn out two new albums, Sophs’ album release has been confirmed for 6 June.

Featuring a wealth of producers and writers such as Freemasons, Greg Kurstin, Calvin Harris, Cathy Dennis, Metronomy, Richard X and Armin Van Buuren, it certainly looks set to be worth the wait. To promote (yes!) the album, Sophie is also releasing a brand new single, ‘Starlight’ on 30 May. We still don’t know which label she’s with, but God bless their cotton/other-assorted-fabric socks. You can listen to ‘Starlight’ and check out her upcoming summer tour dates below.
