GT ’s annual Naked Issue is, for obvious reasons, always popular with its readers and is released today as a not one, but two specials for the first time ever. Every year, a large number of well-known celebrities and public personalities from the world of film, television, music, arts and sports, willingly strip off and bare all (well, almost) for GT (formerly Gay Times), all in the good name of charity.
Sacha Harding: Who doesn't love a beautiful, manly rugby player?
In 2010, GT’s chosen charity was the Terrence Higgins Trust for HIV and this year it is the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Currently in its 37th year and having recently celebrated its 400th issue, the UK’s longest-running gay magazine is aiming to end 2011 on a high and what better way to do so than with two special Naked Issues and a whopping grand total of 120 men? Apparently there were far too many eager volunteers to fit into just one. Well, we’re not complaining…
In this first special issue, fifty-four brave and gorgeous guys show us what they’ve got, including: buff rugby player Sacha Harding who also is this month’s cover star, the cute (and former So So Gay interviewee) Harry Clayton-Wright, repeat X Factor hopeful Marlon McKenzie, singer Thundacub, comedian Stephen K Amos, gymnast Hugo Desmarais and fashion model Calum Best, to name but a few. Oh, and Four Poofs and a Piano as well, if they take your fancy. We guarantee you will love the feast for your eyes that GT have on offer for you and with the money that is raised going to a worthwhile and significant cause, what could be any better? Apart from full-frontal nudity, of course.
Props and heaps of envy go to photographers Matt Sills and Thor Haley who took the delectable photos of these stunners that we can all enjoy. This month’s issue also features Ugly Betty star turned West End star America Ferrera, Matt Smith, the current Doctor Who, and an exclusive interview with the absolutely fabulous cast of well, Absolutely Fabulous.
