Fela! transfers to Sadler’s Wells this summer

After its scorching success in New York, and a fiery run at the National Theatre, Fela! is ready to set Islington ablaze as the acclaimed production transfers to Sadler’s Wells for a summer run.

The musical/dance extravaganza was given four stars when we reviewed it during its winter run on the South Bank. It charts the life of renowned musician-cum-activist in 1980s Nigeria – complete with infectious Afrobeat music, Tony Award-winning choreography by Bill T Jones, and phenomenal performances across the entire company. Book early to avoid missing out on what we described as, ‘profound, inspiring, and a heck of a lot of fun’.
