Don’t Ask Don’t Tell

US District Judge Virginia Phillips has declared the controversial “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” policy unconstitutional in a ruling on a case brought forward by a pro-gay Republican group.

The policy was established in 1993 by the Clinton administration in an effort to make life a little easier for gays. It made it illegal for the military to ask about sexuality, but if found out through other means, ie an ex lover ratting on them, they could still be disciplined.

More soon.
