Liverpool’s Homotopia returns

Homotopia

Homotopia

Homotopia, the Liverpool based gay arts festival, will be staging its seventh annual event later this year, with new additions including a youth strand.

The event runs from 1-30 November, and is supported by both the City of Liverpool and Arts Council England. Festival organisers have managed to gain further funding with new partners to overcome cuts in art funding.

Festival director Gary Everett says, “Homotopia offers a veritable smorgasbord of entertainment for everyone of all ages. From the hilarious, outrageous and subversive to the thought-provoking and challenging.”

“International artists from Italy, Mexico and the US rub shoulders with writers and performers from Wales, Scotland and Liverpool. We are now the only LGBT cultural festival in the north of England – come and find out why.”
