Incite! – a new queer poetry group

The Incite! flyer

Camden LGBT Forum wants you to come to the launch of an exciting new Queer poetry group – Incite! (their exclamation mark, not ours).

They invite all LGBTQQI (that second Q is ‘Questioning’, I believe) to come along once a month to the First Out Cafe Bar in central London, where they promise all participants will “Embrace Diversity, create open and inclusive spaces & form alliances and networks within the world of poetry”.

I’m not entirely convinced, but if this is your kind of thing, it launches on Thursday 9th September. Wine & nibbles from 7pm, readings & ‘special surprises’ from 7.30pm. First Out is at 52 St Giles High Street, WC2H 8LH – just behind Centre Point tower if you’re coming from Tottenham Court Road.

More details from events@camdenlgbtforum.org.uk or call 020 7470 8760 or sign up to the Facebook event.

What aren't you entirely convinced about, Caspar?

Poetry isn't entirely my cup of tea. A nice fiction paperback, maybe. I may pop along on Thursday though, I'm open minded - and we're all about celebrating our differences. Will you be there?
