Do THT posters encourage viewers to bareback?

Managing Director of Boy’s magazine, David Bridle, published these recent Terrence Higgins Trust ads on Facebook with the statement “This is a recent prevention campaign by THT. One of the lines reads: “No point in using condoms. All the lads here are positive”. No wonder gay men are confused by the current safer sex prevention messages! This is nothing less than an invitation for positive men to bareback with the backing of THT.”

Do you agree, are the images and wording ambiguous? Is it clear that the questions are hypothetical assumptions from each partner in the scenario? Do they imply that it’s fine to have unprotected sex, since everyone else is doing it anyway?
