Central London pub refuses to serve gay customers

The Greencoat Boy in Westminster today refused to serve customers drinking there after the LGBT Labour AGM.

Twitter user Ade Bradley @adebradley broke the news with this tweet:

Customers refused to leave the venue and police attended, where a hate crime was reported.

TanktheTories have provided contact details for Punch Taverns, who run the venue.

Both @johnprescott and @SarahBrownUK tweeted about the event, which was the top trending topic in the UK, even beating mentions of the Britains Got Talent finale.

Richard Angell @RichardAngell, Secretary of LGBT Labour, posted that a crime reference number was issued at 5.17am the following morning.

A facebook group “I’m boycotting the homophobic Greencoat Boy pub!” has gained over 500 members in just a few hours.
