California Gays – Show Me Your Peacock

Men not wearing much. Damn, it's a pity you can't see this.

Gays. In California. Yesterday.

I’m not a huge Katy Perry fan, but these guys are really helping me to appreciate her music.

After the YouTube success of their original California Gays video, the boys (Ryan James Yezac, Joe Lauer, Spencer Titus and my future ex-husband Christian Beasley) are back with a remake of Katy Perry’s Peacock – this song, she claims, is the one she intended to be the big gay anthem. Hmmm.

For me, this video makes the point that  having way too much spare time on your hands isn’t always a bad thing.

As with @CazwellNYC’s Ice Cream Truck, it’s much better if you put it on mute.

I love Speenceeeer ! ♥

Is this not the same Katy Perry whose "I Kissed a Girl" uses lezploitational lyrics to sell records and whose "Ur So Gay" is filled with cheap homophobic stereotypes (and sexist misandry, considering the tone of the former track)? And didn't she attempt to give a non-apology to explain away her poor choice of words?

Sometimes what you see is really what you get.
